Dive into the depths with me as I share some new artwork! I wanted to design a speculative poster for one of my all time favourite documentaries, Becoming Cousteau.
I’d never heard about Jacques Cousteau before but always loved The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, one day I found out the film was based on Cousteau and then watched the documentary by Disney Plus and National Geographic it all made sense!
For this poster I wanted to try and develop more human portraits while still keeping a sense of geometric playfulness that I love and also concentrate on the vehicles and vessels that made up Cousteau’s fleet. If you haven’t seen the documentary I fully recommend it! Hope you like the poster!
